This is Zaino Farm’s first year and we are very excited to be up and running. The farm is run by Laura Zaino (me). We are focused on growing unique types of produce that you don’t often find at the farmer’s market. Right now, we are producing shiitake mushrooms and several varieties of gourmet garlic, but are working on expanding with new types of mushrooms and herbs.
We have a little over two acres close to State College in Stormstown, with a small woodlot where we keep our shiitake mushroom logs, and a nice bit of open space for growing garlic and for my garden.
